To make mental health care more accessible, we are committed to offer a fee scaling to those who are unable to afford the full fee.
A limited number of reduced-fee slots are available for students, individuals who are currently unemployed, or those experiencing temporary financial hardship.

Your first session is an opportunity for you and your therapist to know each other. It is also a great time to ask any questions you may have.
Your therapist will lead the conversation to understand what you’ve been experiencing, your concerns, and what you hope to get from therapy. Different areas of life will be covered like family, friends, work, relationships, past psychological history, and so forth. This will help your therapist to have a fuller understanding of your present situation and address the goals you may have. This info is kept confidential.
It is typical to feel nervous, particularly if this is your first time seeking support. Many people feel more reassured once they interact with their therapist and know the process a bit better. -
Yes! You’re welcome to bring someone along to your first session if it helps you feel more comfortable. However, as therapy is a personal process, your therapist will typically spend most of the session speaking with you directly. In some cases, it may be helpful to include your support person briefly at the start or end of the session to provide context or ease the transition.
-
Many people aren’t sure where to start, and that’s perfectly okay! Your therapist will guide you through the process. Often, this unfolds naturally once you begin talking.
-
The length of therapy varies depending on several factors, including the nature and severity of presenting issues, your engagement during sessions, therapy approaches, etc.
Some clients find that a few sessions are enough to gain clarity or develop specific skills, while others benefit from longer-term therapy to explore deeper patterns and make lasting changes.
We will review your goals and progress regularly, so you’ll have a clearer sense of how many sessions may be helpful for you. -
It is our professional and ethical duties to keep your discussion with your therapist private and confidential.
Your private information including personal details and session notes are stored on an electronic management system that is HIPAA-compliant.
